Yeah plenty of celebs have gotten boosted beyond their talents simply because they were nice, professional and/or charming. Selena is def one who is benefitting from good will and that she's relatively nice.

I have to applaud Selena for knowing her strengths and staying in her lane, and maximizing the talent she does have (business acumen) and producing that TV show for example. It’s an interesting contrast to her “bestie” who thinks music videos that would get her a C in a high school film class could help her become an Oscar winning director. Most celebs have no business trying to become directors, stick with producing!

And yeah Selena being nice and professional to everyone (except Hailey and Bella LMAO) works in her favor. She seems to be everywhere promoting Emilia Pérez, she could get a coattail nom if she’s seen as being Zoe and Karla’s cheerleader like Jamie Lee Curtis minus the win lol.

I never liked Jack much because of his production (thanks for Melodrama and NFR but everything else is horrible, retire please) but what turned me against him is seeing how he and Lorde (13 years younger) had a falling out just as he and Margaret Qualley (10 years younger) got together and he’s been passive aggressive since, for example making a post thanking all of his female collaborators by name and leaving out Lorde. The last woman he dated who was close to his age was Lena Dunham which doesn’t exactly show good judgment and between the rumored Lorde affair and getting together with Margaret he dated a model who was 8 years younger. So my question is, what it is about him that every woman his own age except for Lena Dunham is seeing and running away from? And then he fools the younger women with his male feminism shtick. I saw a TikTok where someone said they saw Jack screaming at Margaret and making her cry too. I’m rooting for Margaret to dump his ass and make him cry back lol

I didn't realize the age difference with Lorde and Margaret. Lena sucks but I will say that I did feel sorry for her during that affair cause she had welcomed Lorde into their house and look what happened (lorde is a scorpio...messy). Lol I remember she had done that song with Disclosure about a pseudo-affair although it turns out she was helping the other woman but still I thought the timing was interesting~ to say the least. The only funny thing was Jack coming out and dismissing affair rumors by saying "heteronormative gossip" lol. Y'all got caught red-handed

I hate Lena too but I felt bad when the reaction to her and Jack’s breakup was that she deserved it. The woman who was faithful while her long-term boyfriend was cheating with a 13 year younger musician he was supposed to be producing an album for literally in their HOME studio will never be the villain in that particular scenario.

Yeah, Taylor is addicted to fame and attention and now she’s found someone who’s exactly the same as her. They’ll ride the wave of endless validation from the public until it crashes and burns, and it will lmao. No relationship founded on such a flimsy foundation can last… and one of them is an aging pop star who hasn’t made a good album in years and the other one is an aging football star who apparently is already showing signs of decline. They’re both coasting on past successes and headed straight for Razzie quality Hollywood movies lol. It’s all a ticking time bomb.
