Four Favorites with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice's Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, and Justin Theroux. Tim Burton's sequel is now in theaters around the world
Jenna Ortega: La haine (1995), Barry Lyndon (1975), The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) and Paris, Texas (1984)

Also the few body horror elements were so fun!
Also also, really, what sealed my enjoyment of it was: [Spoiler (click to open)] the scene at the end, because when that Carrie music kicked in I SQUAWKED and me and my sister started cackling and freaking out in the best way. Chef's kiss, he did that for me and me alone <333 The people who get it are gonna enjoy the ending so much more. Made it predictable that it was a dream sequence and the demon baby was coming but I genuinely loved it (but I'm also super biased because Carrie is my everything <333)

i'm with you about willem and especially monica. i know tim always finds a role for his real life partner in all his projects but her role was super unnecessary. she looked great and all, but not really needed (or maybe they could've made her story - at least the finale - more interesting)

They did that last bit for me too! I did a little almost raccoon clap at it, my inner fangirl just squeeing lol

Can we please discuss how good our man still looks as Beej? He killed it. I understand why he didn't get more screentime but I wanted moar, especially with him and Lydia together! IDC I ship them too!

And in Beej's human form! I did not expect that! Or how LONG that dance sequence was - I loved every second of that. (And omg at how unsubtle Winona has been! Keeping the cake topper, admitting to wanting them to be endgame, saying what she was happiest with after 36 years was "staring into his eyes again"! Girl, yes!)
And the fact Beej admitted to waiting these last thirty years for her (that made me laugh that they rounded down the years as if Beej cared if she was legal lol). And then him scoring major dad points when it came to Astrid... I'm over the moon with how they handled a lot of the Beetlejuice/Lydia stuff

LOL right?! Like dude as if it really matters in the end one way or another. I would have liked for Astrid to have said something like "idk mom, he doesn't seem so bad?" and for Lydia to just kinda be like "sure I guess, sometimes..." and look at him awkwardly fondly and then have him totally kill the moment lol
Ok now I need to go watch it again haha I'm sad we won't get more. And I wish they did more promo together :(((
