I think the brother did it. They covered it up to protect him, so they wouldn't lose two children.

That being said, we don't know (and likely never will) what happened so this shouldn't be made. And in general, a lot of true crime should be kept to documentary and not dramatization. Mindhunter is the exception.

I do agree but I did think the Staircase was a good dramatisation because it pointed out how biased the original documentary was which not everyone knew about

I thought it was pretty good, the acting was really compelling. Some scenes were hard to watch though

Honestly no because I personally found the documentary to be a bit of a slog and there’s sequels to it as well. I think you get enough of the other perspectives from the drama.
