Naomi Campbell claps back at Anna Wintour after Wintour commented on her being late to show where she was supposed to present Naomi with an award.
Wintour reportedly had to leave and gave the award to Samira Nasr to present, which Naomi said she preferred over “the other lady.”

September 4, 2024 Naomi Campbell, 58, was honored with the Fashion Icon Award at the 17th Annual Harlem's Fashion Row Fashion Show & Style Awards on Tuesday, September 3rd in New York City. When introduced by Anna Wintour, 74, the Vogue editor-in-chief said she was "presenting tonight to someone who is often late."
Wintour then passed things over to Samira Nasr, editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar, who presented Campbell with the award. In her acceptance speech, Campbell seemingly addressed Wintour's tardiness remark. "I want to say this. Everything is meant to work out the way it's going to work out," she told the crowd. "It wasn't my choice to have the other lady. I would much rather have this," Campbell said, gesturing to Nasr.
TMZ
reported that Wintour was so annoyed with Campbell’s tardiness that she actually left the event after her speech wrapped.
Sources close to Naomi then told TMZ that she wasn't late, she arrived at the time she was instructed to by event organizers ... but that Anna had moved up the presentation's time slot so she could go to the US Open.
