I think social media has made the extreme stanning more apparent. I went to school (pre internet) with an extreme stan of some singer, and any conversation with her always lead this singer guy. One day on the bus, the radio was playing one of his songs, and she began screaming and getting all excited. The bus had to pull over because the driver thought something was wrong. Granted, she was 12 and kids are dumb. But now it seems like the extreme stanning are middle aged women.

It's so crazy! Twitter, TiKTok is so insane with it. I find it's mostly young girls that I see anyway. They'll stalk their faves, their potential over interests online, irl and think they can pull them? I don't understand this behaviour AT all. There are actors I think are hot AF but I'm happy when they get married etc. My ass ain't delusional, I want a REAL man lol.

I think it’s ridiculous when it comes to like nerdy or those ugly-handsome type celebs cos the fans would’ve think those type would not go for stereotypical attractive women. If they were to date it has to be some intelligent, not ur mainstream beauty, someone who would love them for who they are bla blablabla u know like how the fans would think themselves as. But they’re men tho so yeah if there’s models and influencer they’d be interested. As long as theyre age appropriate I mean why not ?
