Instagram has added a feature allowing people to comment on Instagram Stories.
The way this OP understands it: Previously, if you commented on one's story, it would show up in their DMs. Now it seems to show up overlaid on top of the story.
Beware of those thirsty comments you send... or, maybe we'll see who's trash for trying to slide into some DMs!
