Billboard has officially declared the Song of the Summer '24 and it probably wasn't a song you expected: Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's collaboration ("I Had Some Help"). Wallen become the first artist this century to earn Billboard’s #1 Song Of The Summer 2 years in a row. “Last Night” in 2023 and “I Had Some Help” in 2024.

The Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 8 through Sept. 7).

No. 1, “I Had Some Help,” Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen
No. 2, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Shaboozey
No. 3, “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar
No. 4, “Espresso,” Sabrina Carpenter
