The Grammys have very particular tastes (the tastes of old white people lmfao) so if you put yourself in the mindset of an old white person you can kind of predict what they like. They LOVE songs with retro, throwback production in terms of production, and in terms of themes they love motivational, self-love songs like About Damn Time or Flowers which won big in recent years or very emotional songs like the Bonnie Raitt song that won SOTY over All Too Well was about someone’s son dying in an accident but then his heart being transplanted into someone else’s body and giving a second chance at life lol. They also love the ingenue having a breakthrough moment which this year will be Sabrina Carpenter, she’ll go home with at least some Grammys in the Pop category. Taylor doesn’t really have anything appealing the olds this year lol.

After Sabrina tweeted “this one is for Nicki” I really can’t feel too sorry for her lol! It is funny to see the Swifties who were hiding behind Sabrina Carpenter to bash Sabrina’s peers (Billie, Olivia, Chappell, etc) get a taste of their own medicine.
