Columbus Blue Jackets winger Johnny Gaudreau, 31, and his brother Matthew, 29, were killed Thursday after being struck by a vehicle while riding their bicycles.
Both brothers were supposed to serve as groomsmen in their sister Katie’s wedding on Friday.

I literally cannot imagine the pain. I think they’re a family of four kids, so now only the 2 sisters are left.
The drunk driver could rot under the jail. Heard he had 6 beers before driving and failed the sobriety test. So needlessly reckless.

And it came out today (in the central NC news at least) that he was a previous offender for DUI in NC. So a repeat offender. Fucking hell...

ACAB - the guy who didn't show up to court and whoever in law enforcement who seemingly leaked this like an hour after the crash last night. I hope the family was notified before it leaked onto Twitter.
