I think the critics are being too much. A lot of the reviews are like, it’s fun but relies on the nostalgia of the original.. which doesn’t sound like a bad thing to me lol.

You were literally pointing out how short it was, to prove your point/opinion that you think it is a "flop." YOU put importance on those silly ovations in the first place. 😆

I loved the original as a kid and still do! Just rewatched it the other day, actually.
I'm sure I'll like it no matter what, honestly.
The original also isn't high-art or anything. It is a cult classic.
