I remember she was once asked something like - what movie would people be surprised to learn that you've never seen? And she was like - there isn't one, I've seen all the movies that people should see lol. A true cinephile!

I've loved movies my whole life but I can understand why some people prefer different kinds of storytelling. It is a little strange to me when ACTORS don't like movies though. Like MBB saying she doesn't even watch movies and Tom Holland never having heard of Pedro Almodóvar is wild to me.

Are you a professional actor who makes films for a living though? I would assume that if you're in the filmmaking business you would have at least a baseline knowledge of famous filmmakers, but maybe not. Of course Tom Holland also thought that Martin Scorsese shouldn't speak on Marvel movies since he's never made one lmao.

I was really into movies as a kid and knew who he was when I was young. Tom works in the industry. If you aren’t really into cinema, then regardless of age you may not know who he is. But if you consider yourself a film buff or working in film and don’t know who he is…
