But tale as old as time, people get worried when the landscape doesn’t resemble the one they grew up with.

I also don’t think it’s a worry about the landscape but a worry about how people have zero attention spans anymore.

It’s def the landscape and that things change from when they were young and that scares them. That age group is constantly complaining about the new stuff. The gen before them also had the same fears, it’s nothing new. I think the attention span is a board generalization cause not everyone is on TikTok. Idk it’s if a backlash against 3hr+ movies which I don’t mind that cause some of those films could’ve been shaved down.

Winona clearly is commenting on how young people don’t have the attention span to sit through movies and don’t have interest because of how long they are. Even if you aren’t on tiktok, which I think a good majority of gen z and alpha are just like many of us were on facebook and MySpace etc., they are still very much used to screens. It’s been widely studied that attention spans have decreased, I think the average used to be like 13 seconds and now n Z’s attention span is less than 8 seconds. It’s a big issue especially since it is often connected to other mental health issues, and I don’t think it has to do with 3 hour movies.
