There was also the Rice University student who was just murdered by a man she was dating. A few months ago, the local news in my community reported a grown man was breaking into buildings and exposing himself to women. I am sick and tired of this shit.
My uni had what seemed like weekly e-mails in the fall about a man that was entering women's washrooms/showers and taking videos of women, he did it multiple times over three months and some of the victims were underage and I know every woman that lived in a dorm would have been terrified like how can you focus on anything when you aren't safe in your new home but you are always expected to just cope.
and yet people are constantly raising the boogieman of trans women being men in dresses to gain access to women's spaces. it's so ridiculous, bc it is patently obvious men have never needed those kinds of shenanigans to invade our spaces and abuse us, since society barely gives a slap on the wrist if they do it.
i feel so fucking hopeless sometimes. we shouldn't have to live under this crushing burden.
One of my best friends/coworkers is a trans woman…one time a creepy dude came into the store we were working for, and was a total stalker /creeper towards me. My bestie stood right besides me and gave him the death glare, plus she stood at 6 ft 5 while the creeper was only 5 ft 8 lol so that helped 😅
But trans women make me feel safe to be around. It’s nice and rare to feel so safe around such a equal balance of ying and Yang energy and that’s my bestie ☺️🥰
Honestly, I could almost buy JRK's rhetoric as her protecting one of the only safe public spaces for women if she didn't outright ignore transmen all together. Because by her definition, if transwomen are men, then transmen are women and should be protected under her "protect all women" agenda, should it not? But no one ever talks about protecting transmen in the trans discourse.
Look at that man in France, who had been drugging his wife for years and letting men r*pe her. She only found out when she started having medical issues and the videos he made were discovered.

The numbers have been increasing drastically in Canada too.

I think that the less men have control over women's lives the more misogynistic and violent they're getting.

Ugh.Why can't they just busy themselves with something else. That was rhetorical.
