Do you mean he wouldn't come back, or GH writers/ show runners would be pricks and not let him comeback because he dare chose to be gainfully employed elsewhere? I thought I read somewhere recently where he said he has let GH know that he'd be willing to comeback?
tbh I want him back as Spencer and I feel like they keep low key hinting to it on-again-off again. I also feel like they are going to have to bring back Esme to fuck up everything with Trina and her mom if they try and stop Heather from being released/pardoned, which will bring him back too. And there's never any guarantee in RY productions you'll always remain the favorite. I don't think he's employed hat girl in a long time, has he?
I think it's more of they aren't interested, like he said he wants to come back but no dice on their end.
However I'm never surprised when GH makes a decision against their best interest so 😔 I do not think it's Nick's choice to not be Spencer rn but we will see!
If they do bring him back I hope Esme stays dead. She was a horrible person. There are other ways to create drama for Spencer and Trina. They could recast the character too like they have for others.
