Ryan Murphy's "Doctor Odyssey" premieres this September 26th on ABC. The teaser trailer was released today.
The plot? Joshua Jackson plays the new doctor on a luxury cruise ship where the "staff work hard and play harder" and "navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore". Shania Twain is announced as a guest star. "Doctor Odyssey" stars Joshua Jackson, Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale, and Don Johnson. The ship is extremely CGIed.

OP note: Having spent chunks of three days in a cruise ship ER, this teaser is EXTREMELY unrealistic - not even luxury cruise lines hire American medical crew, not when Filipino and South African doctors/nurses are a fraction of the cost and it's all about that profit margin! That didn't stop them from charging me almost $6,000 for emergency care. BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE.
