I wasn't surprised at any of the outcomes of the couples. The only one that I was on the fence about was Demi and Ollie, and I honestly expected her to say 'yes', and him to say 'no', so I surprised that it was the other way around, but I was happy about it. I never really had the sense that Ollie was super into Demi.
Not at all surprised that Tom and Freddie said no. Those couples were not compatible at all. For a moment, I thought Nicole was going to say 'no'. I'm still not sure that see her and Benaiah lasting long term.
I had all the same thoughts as you. I also predicted the outcomes but assumed Ollie and Demi would be switched. I will say, though, I was sort of surprised Cat said yes because she seemed so over him as soon as they got back to London. I think her abandonment issues and need to feel chosen clouded her judgement, though.
I think Cat thought Freddie was going to say yes based on the letter and the earrings, so she felt confident in saying yes. If she had questioned whether or not he was going to say yes, I don't think she would have.
i had the same thought! after he read his vows demi seemed to make her decision. maybe they talked beforehand or something and he gave her a signal that if he said this, he was gonna say no? so that she could have the power? not sure but she seemed to nod and say "okay" after he said his vows like she had something confirmed for her!
