i gave up on this reboot two episodes in, because the i wasn't into the animation. is it worth it to check it out now?

If you want a quick overview of the story....sure. it's like watching the OG on fastfoward... that's how quickly the story moves.

Same. The animation does not improve. I get they wanted it to look more like Naoko's art but it just doesn't translate well, and it was so weird how Toei treated the entire thing.

Mess. Fans (me included) were very vocal about their disappointment. The execution of the whole thing was so unprofessional.

I'm looking at the gif in the post and the little pearls in her hair don't even move with her hair; it's clearly a locked top layer that they forgot to animate.

They used stock footage for attacks and transformations. They aint animating pearls in hair lol
