it's why i hold a grudge against emerald fennell to this day, even though i know she was only one in a series of oblivious white showrunners/writers.

i know it's not jodie comer's fault, but i feel disgruntled when i see ppl praising her as the best thing since sliced bread when a large part of the reason she got that chance to shine was bc the writers were so obviously interested in writing for her and any other white character over sandra. the writers had plausible deniability at first but that went out the window when they started writing about random fucking side characters like fucking geraldine, like why the fuck am i supposed to give a shit about carolyn's daughter?

and then the writers completely exposed themselves when they posted that zoom pic to celebrate finishing another season and ALL of the writers were white lol.

Fennell did alright. Season 2 was still good eventhough realistically, no one was ever gonna be able to top PWB. It really went downhill in S3. S4 was middling but the ending was so insulting to all the fans.

the final episode was so bad it was offensive. like a slap in the face. i felt so much more betrayed than i did by game of thrones
