He seemed really surprised/dismissive that people were critical of things like Michelle dating her therapist, Beard marrying his toxic girlfriend, the Roy/Keeley/Jamie triangle. Maybe some other things. And since these were things I didn't like, I didn't like his answers haha.

lmaoo, that's valid. I stopped watching after s2 because I could sense the downward trajectory with Roy/Keeley and wanted to get out before I got too invested. I did remember seeing spoilers about Roy/Keeley/Jamie and not being a fan of what the show did.

This reminds me of when the cast and showrunners of The Bear were asked, after winning the Emmy for Best Comedy Series, if they really thought they were making a comedy. They were all so shocked and offended lol. I guess they really think they're making a funny ha ha comedy show.

I will never, ever understand what happened with Ted Lasso because for two seasons the writers/producers/actors were all, "We have a TIGHT plan for three seasons. This story is exactly three seasons" and then the third season was the most "we're all out of ideas"/"need to fill time" crap I have ever seen.

Bill Lawrence left at the end of season two to do "Shrinking" and then Sudeikis and Hunt were left in charge. I think they also scrapped most of the original plans for season three and rewrote almost all of it.

Sudeikis seemed so checked out in s3, the character was really a shadow of his former self, it was super disappointing, among other things
