Lynch and bloomer were reportedly missing from ultra luxury yacht, Bayesian, off the coasts of Sicily, after the ship was hit by a waterspout during a strong storm in the sea. At first they were reported missing but the bodies of Lynch and his daughter and bloomer and his wife, along with other people, have been found.
Lynch and the passengers were celebrating Lynch's acquittal on fraud charges for billions for the sale of his company to HP.
The yacht was anchored off Porticello, a small fishing village about 15 kilometres east of Palermo, Sicily. The Bayesian had 12 crew members and 10 passengers. 15 people were able to make it to safety.
Lynch was known for co-founding Autonomy Corporation and Invoke Capital. Then became a co-founder of the cybersecurity company Darktrace. Bloomer held the position of chairman at Morgan Stanley international and was CEO of prudential.
