They are truly something else. I just watched clips of people camping in the wild with lions roaming around and even checking their tents! Why would anyone camp in the wild knowing lions are nearby? … Omg like why?

Reminds me of that ✨bear enthusiast✨ Timothy Treadwell who got himself and his gf mauled bc he thought it would be a great idea to set up camp next to a salmon stream where bears feed. during the time of year when they’re trying to gain as much fat for winter as possible.

lmao, i camped in the Serengeti at an established camp ground (but it was def in my own little tent).

I've also wild camped in areas where elephants roam pretty freely.

I was most terrified of snakes.

I guess I fall into this category of crazy white people things. But I'm not stupid enough to eat things I find just lying around or growing. I know how to identify wild blackberries, raspberries, and salmonberries, and that's it. I have friends who forage for mushrooms but I don't have an eye for mushroom ID, and it's not worth my life.
