Camila Mendes Cast in Live Action He-Man Movie

Camila Mendes has been cast as Teela in Amazon/MGM's live action Masters of the Universe movie.

She'll be starring opposite Nicholas Galitzine. Travis Knight is set to direct.

Mendes reportedly screen tested for the role along with Clara Rugaard, Alexandra Shipp, and Quintessa Swindell.

This movie will probably be a bigger mess than the OG MotU live action movie. But since I won't be like 6 years old watching this one, I won't love it despite that.

I'm, like, the only stan of the 1980s movie but it's so bad it's good. Meg Foster as Evil-Lyn had me absolutely gagged, ready to swear fealty as a minion.

Was this the role that Noah Centineo originally was going to play? Man Noah really had a moment and then passed, didn't he. Real flash in the pan.

It's a whole mess. It was supposed to be with Sony and then was in development hell forever before he got replaced by Kyle Allen, and then it got shifted to Netflix. And then all THAT got dumped, and I guess it's with Amazon/MGM now.

And I've watched enough of her stuff where even in heels, she's small imo. But whatever! That's what creative blocking and apple boxes and blah blah blah are for. And it's not like she's going to be in flats.
