Recently an ad for Rogers featuring John Krasinski dancing to a Taylor Swift song on a boat has started airing in Canada. Rogers is a communications and media company and the worst. Aside from being super annoying as it's being played constantly the ad also brings attention to the fact that the Canadian actors union (ACTRA) has been locked out of doing commercial work for two years. Many actors have had to sell their homes, move across country, or change industries due to lack of work.
Some have pointed out how ACTRA stood with and supported the SAG-AFTRA strike last year but have not been afforded the same support.
Looks like Krasinski is as big a fan of scabbing as he is the CIA.
