I love this movie, although imagine the horror of her waking up every day and seeing a huge pregnant stomach and having no idea what’s happened. I kinda like this ending more. It sounds cuter and less horrifying to think about.

I have always loved that the center of the movie's action was about accommodating Lucy's limitations so that she could have a real life, instead of a continuous charade put on by her family (who did it out of love ( ... )

That ending was always like a horror ending to me. The sheer horror of waking up pregnant, in a place you don't know, and realizing you're married to Adam Sandler. Even Jigsaw hasn't devised something so sinister.
