It can be in some contexts, especially when used as a term of contempt. It may be widely accepted but it’s still harmful. Women certainly don’t appreciate being called one particularly from men. It could sway undecided suburban women. People forget how absolutely diabolical this man is

Slur is defined as "a derogatory or insulting term applied to particular group of people" so yes it absolutely is. I know people use it more casually now, but it's intent is generally to put down and/or dehumanize women.
