Not really. He got paid 175,000 for the trilogy and 1 million for the Hobbit films. While that's a lot of money, it must be long gone.

He made a lot more for the pirate movies.

most of the cast weren’t big names then so the movie being a hit would have more weight on them getting a big cut, depending on their contract, not their actual salary. Cate Blanchett said the other day she wasn’t really paid, she went for it bc she wanted to work for the guy who did Braindead lol
