Lucasfilm has released the trailer for its newest Star Wars series. Skeleton Crew will debut on December 3 with a two-episode premiere.
The series is said to be inspired by Amblin '80s movies such as E.T. and The Goonies. For those keeping track, it reportedly takes place in the same post-Return of the Jedi timeline as The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.
Disney also dropped news about Andor's second and final season, which will debut next year, and The Mandalorian & Grogu film, which is coming to theatres in 2026.

August 10, 2024 First, it was revealed Andor season two will take place over 4 years. Season two will follow a three-episode arc structure like season one, but this time there will be a one-year time jump every three episodes.
Ben Mendelsohn and Alan Tudyk are officially reprising their Rogue One roles of Orson Krennic and K-2S0, respectively. Forest Whitaker will also be back as Saw Gerrera, a character which originated in Clone Wars before Whitaker took over the role in Rogue One. Jon Favreau just unveiled the first footage from The Mandalorian And Grogu movie - in cinemas in May 2026. “We just started filming a few weeks ago,” he says.
The footage included an appearance from Rebels favourite Zeb, lots of Mando kicking ass, and Mando and Grogu piloting…

August 10, 2024 Disney also shared a few details about upcoming movie The Mandalorian & Grogu, which is slated for a May 2026 release. Not only will the Razorcrest (Din's destroyed ship) somehow return, but in big news for fellow Rebels-heads: Garazeb Orrelios will appear in the film. Zeb, who was a main character in animated series Star Wars Rebels, made a surprise cameo appearance in The Mandalorian season 3 (OP note: and then did not appear in Ahsoka, which featured almost all the other Rebels main characters, but anyways!). Filming began only recently, but a very short teaser also leaked
here (again, it may be deleted by the time this post is up also gone!).
