He should be stripped of his medal for hugging the winner. I can maybe overlook running because he trained so hard but he should have been kept far away from the other athletes.

Don't overlook that. It was stupid decision for his and his competitor's health both in the short term and (potentially) the long term. Noah has World Championships coming up next year and has already won gold, this was just a selfish and irresponsible decision.

While I agree he should not have been allowed to run - he was allowed to, they knew he was positive.

Allegedly, once he tested positive, he was wearing masks and isolating at the Olympic village. But yeah, people don't understand just how contagious COVID can be.
