I don't think we know much about the stabber to put them under the same umbrella like that. These guys seem to have acted on behalf of Islamic State. This, i think, makes the answer to your question more straight forward.

It is unclear that the british guy acted on behalf of any radical religious organization.

Radicalised was the wrong word to use, I think. I meant more along the lines of radicalising to violence generally rather than to a specific cause like IS.
