i feel like you have to do more than fall (which can happen to anyone) for a cop to want a breathalyzer, but maybe thats just how strict they are in south korea, idk. this part though "my failure to recognize that using an electric scooter while intoxicated was prohibited" sir you should not be driving any vehicle if you've been drinking. also not a great look since one of the bts side shows is a drinking show he hosts

he and hybe are full of shit and they know it:

-he was already in an accident involving one of these vehicles, he knows its a motor vehicle and dangerous (as in, he had a motorbike license)

-he AND hybe lied about what kind of vehicle it was (not an electric standing scooter, which also counts as a motor vehicle in korea, but an electric scooter like we're more familiar with in the west)

-he didn't "fall", the secret service who were patrolling for the president found him passed out on the ground.

-he lied and said he only had 1 beer (him and justin timberlake collab when)

-he was caught on CCTV

maybe im just cynical but i feel like he has to have done this before, and it likely wont be the last time since lbr fines mean nothing to millionaires

Thank you! People are getting impression that the cop saw him fall and went to help. No! The cop was patrolling the area and walked up on a dude on still on the ground next to the fallen scooter. Who knows how long he was there?!

Sorry, what's the difference between an "electric scooter" and an "electric standing scooter"? I'm European and this is the only thing the term 'electric scooter' brings to mind.

What you posted the link to would be the standing scooter. What he was riding was shaped more like a Vespa, from what I saw in the CCTV footage - he was sitting.

Thanks, that makes sense! I've only heard those kinds being called scooters as such before, but makes sense there'd be electric ones as well!

np, this is the confusion for a bunch of people rn because of the original statements. the one you linked is what im calling a "standing scooter" or a kickboard (mind you, these have also killed people). those are electric vehicles in korea but what Suga was driving is this: https://emmo.ca/collections/electric-scooter-ebike

so basically a motorcycle with slightly more stability depending on the make/model. theres video of him driving it and hes on a major road trying to merge into traffic at a decent speed.

Oh I see, that makes sense! I've only ever seen those called scooters as such but makes sense there'd be electric ones as well, hence the confusing terms. That definitely adds to the seriousness of this. And yeah, the standing scooters can certainly be dangerous as well; didn't take long for them to get their own diagnosis category after they became popular...

Well, it was late at night and he wasn't just falling over - he was falling over drunk. I think a lot of cops would respond to that.
