The data is trending down significantly and continues to do so. That’s what the data you posted shows.

People can choose not to go to Lolla, or they can go and wear a mask if they choose, or they can choose to go maskless. I am pretty sure I have seen you also posting about going to concerts and I’m presuming you choose to wear a mask, which is great for you. But it’s a bit hypocritical if you are also participating in the same activities? Is it not also ableist for you to go and participate in a risky activity, risking other lives?

People can make their choice to risk long covid, but the reality is with vaccines people have significant protection. You are acting as if everyone is guaranteed to get long covid, and that’s not the case.

Ionadelfina also said she’s a healthcare worker - why are you acting like they aren’t educated on something they have experienced firsthand?

I’m vaccinated and have been to many concerts and events maskless, including Coachella, as have my friends and I live in a major city and use public transport. I only know one person who has gotten COVID since 2022. It’s still a risk so I get vaccinated, but if I think I’m getting sick I mask and get tested and isolate.
