The over-hype is gonna bite her in the ass.

As she said, it's affecting her mentally so I can see it in that way, but I don't think she's overhyped (just my opinion)

I hope not :( I know her blowing up so big so fast has been heavy for her mentally, I’m hoping once her tour wraps she can maybe take some time to let things cool down a bit and take things at her own pace.

She’s said she’s overwhelmed and doesn’t want to blow up more than she already has, it’s been pretty organic. Other than touring, she isn’t doing much promo. She doesn’t even have a video for Good Luck Babe.

Her stans are already psychotic and unhinged. Makes me not wanna like her.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I think she's probably gonna have her hot Chappell summer and then take a break. We're used to the manic over-exposure press cycles from people with huge teams like Ariana and TSwift, but really all she's doing is slaying live performances and earning fans. I'm hoping being in her mid 20s (instead of a teenager/young 20something who hasn't been around the block a few times) and having good people around her will help her make the right moves.

I mean, sure, but that seems like normal publicity again...I feel like people are acting like she's so insanely overexposed and I don't really see it, the backlash feels unwarranted to me. If anyone is dominating the media right now it's Charli XCX, she's actively courting viral videos with tons of content and tie-ins with famous people. Chappell has barely worked with guest artists or remixed any of her shit even though the album has been out for a while. I really think she's just enjoying coverage of an admittedly fast rise but she doesn't seem to be actively overexposing herself idk.

exposure has been tough on her

but she's not overhyped and this is a shitty first comment lol

i've noticed some ppl here and on other socials are like, really eager to bring her down a peg despite the fact that she literally did not ask for this level of fame/exposure so quickly. like damn even she herself has said she wants to pump the breaks a bit because this is all so much, so fast for her.
