I think she had actually built a lot of goodwill like the OC said - by disappearing for a while and coming back with a more reserved, mature attitude. I even went and saw Causeways, because I was here for this era of her doing smaller, more character driven stuff. So I totally get where they're coming from, and I wish that's where we still were tbh.

But her publicly supporting Amy Schumer :/. Not even supporting it, but saying that "she throws her middle fingers up and walks away from negative comments like a gas station fire in a Michael Bay movie" . Like. Girl. That imagery. To defend your friend who is justifying what military historians are calling the worst bombing campaign ever wielded in a populated area? No kidding, we KNOW she's throwing up her fingers and turning her back on the destruction. The KINDEST viewing of what she said is that she is just ignorant, and at this point, that isn't something I'm very forgiving of. Not when it comes to Palestine.

I honestly had no clue about stuff she said about Amy Schumer. I did always side-eye that friendship though but I legit thought she grew up. Though last time I watched any interview of hers was hot ones
