Doesn't really sound like Mother. In this she plays a woman who's having an affair and sort of slowly going mad. No one knows if Pattinson is playing the husband or the boyfriend. He has a bucket list of directors he wants to work with and Ramsay's been on it since they met at Cannes in 2017. This will be the sixth woman director he's worked with.

Also filming doesn't begin until August 19th.

the book is not really going for a metaphore on anything, it's more a critique of how mothers are isolated in society by the roles they're expected to play in the family unit as a servant both to the men and the child
