Bill & Ted reunite! Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter to star in Waiting for Godot on Broadway
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter became teen idols when they starred together in the 1989 film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. They will reunite for a new Broadway production of Samuel Beckeett's Waiting for Godot directed by Tony nominee and Olivier winner Jamie Lloyd. Keanu will play Estragon and Winter will play Vladimir. The show is scheduled to open in fall 2025.
Alex made his Broadway debut playing John Darling in Peter Pan with Sandy Duncan. He then appeared as Louis in the Broadway production of The King and I starring Yul Brynner. He studied film at NYU and later directed several documentaries. Keanu will be making his Broadway debut.
