Bloomberg is reporting that there is massive strife within the popular podcast. There are no huge bombshells but here are the most salacious details:
- Jon Favreau has a $10 million house in L.A.
- The staffers feel the founding hosts are too moderate an issue that came up when they axed their podcast on climate change and after October 7th when numerous staffers felt the founders were not empathetic to Palestinians
- Jon Lovett is dating a staffer and is accused of favouritism as that staffer rose quickly within the ranks while others strugged with promotions
- Because its an election year the CEO decided to implement a higher production schedule which led to staff working up to 12 hour days and told to think of it as helping to unite the democrats. Meanwhile Lovett took a month off to appear on survivor
