Universal Pictures has landed the rights to Britney Spears’ massive bestselling memoir, The Woman in Me. Jon M. Chu, whose Wicked is about to be released through the studio, is attached to develop to direct.

The upcoming Britney Spears movie will be based on her bestselling memoir "The Woman in Me."

if I were Sabrina I would be v reluctant to do a project like this now, she's only just now really starting to finally carve out her own distinct identity as an artist and I think taking on the Britney mantle would muddle that like crazy
