Universal Pictures has landed the rights to Britney Spears’ massive bestselling memoir, The Woman in Me. Jon M. Chu, whose Wicked is about to be released through the studio, is attached to develop to direct.

The upcoming Britney Spears movie will be based on her bestselling memoir "The Woman in Me."

I find it hard to imagine anyone playing her. just because her charisma/presence is so particular to her and kinda hard to define so I feel like it would be hard to emulate. (Though that would be exactly why they'd need an unknown, you'd need a blank slate)

She’s the only popular pick I really can’t see honestly! She has kind of an edgy face with sharper features to me that really don’t lend to Britney’s look especially in her youth tbh, I think it would be too distracting (and I say that as a Sydney fan)
