Cardi B and Offset have once again called it quits after six years of marriage.
She filed for divorce from her estranged husband on Wednesday, her reps confirmed to Page Six. She is seeking primary custody of their children - daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2.
Cardi B previously filed for divorce back in 2020. However, he reps said that “this time she’s not folding.”
A source familiar with the situation claimed that the latest Offset cheating allegations are not the reason for the divorce. “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider claimed. “This is something she wants to do.”
The divorce did not come as a surprise to Offset, since “they both have been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now,” the source said.
“It’s not something that happened overnight... They’ve both been on the same page. Their wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger overtime. It’s become unavoidable,” the insider added.
