I know people are (understandably) eager to keep Trump out of power but it genuinely makes me sick to see all these people jumping on the Harris hype train without even trying to leverage their support at all to pressure her on the genocide or any of the other problems she'll inherit from Biden. It just makes me think of when Biden was elected and the country breathed a collective sigh of relief and stopped taking about the abuse of migrants and the answer to any criticism of Biden's stance on policing or COVID became, "Would you rather have gotten Trump again?" No candidate should be allowed to coast on being better than the worst.

While Harris is raking in record donations on exactly that basis, the Municipality of Gaza is struggling to meet their fundraising goals, which is especially troubling in light of an expected polio outbreak. Israel just killed another couple of journalists, too, so if you can donate an eSim to help people stay connected and keep the world abreast of what's happening, please consider it. Care for Gaza and Direct Aid for Gaza are two grassroots operations distributing aid in Gaza right now. If you'd like to help people more directly, this spreadsheet of fundraising campaigns by and for Gazans is still being updated and if it's too overwhelming trying to pick from a list, you can see a new campaign every time you refresh this page. Workshops for Gaza* is a group of creatives and educators offering a variety of online workshops to benefit three Gazan families and Wear the Peace is donating all profits from their Palestine collections to Pious Projects. And don't forget that you can click these buttons daily to support Palestine and other worthy causes at no cost to you. Of course and unfortunately, Palestinians aren't the only ones facing genocide and famine right now. So, here is a linktree of resources to help Sudan and here is a linktree of resources to help Congo.

*I'm eyeing a few of the workshops but I'd like to be able to chat with someone after. Anyone interested in signing up for any of these with me? If the price is prohibitive, I can cover the cost of one workshop for one other person.
