Disgraced gymnast gets dragged by Simone et al. following US team's win

The United States women's gymnastics team won team gold yesterday and the winning ladies took to social media pretty quickly to celebrate their win. The caption from one of Simone Biles' posts had the Gymternet going nuts.

I’d like to add that in addition to photoshopping her face over gabby’s, she also added some racist emojis to the photo too, I think it was a monkey and bananas? mykayla is GARBAGE and her gymnastics is so ugly. she could NEVER be suni - whose artistry is incredible plus she has a crazy amount of difficulty too - or Simone - who has ALL the difficulty plus the precision and execution to back it up.

mykayla thought that just because she could throw hard skills she was a shoo in, but she always got penalized because her execution was sooooo shitty that her difficulty didn’t even matter. a big loser!!!!

I included the photo of that tweet--LJ photos defaulted to private uploads so it should be visible now! MyKayla herself didn't add the emojis, but she still liked and retweeted it so even if it wasn't her tweet, I'm still holding it against her tbh

She will never be even half the gymnast that Gabby, Suni, Jade or Grace is and I hope it eats her ass that the first three are gold medalists and she will NEVER be that.

Her one armed Cheng actually led to a rule in the code of points making one armed vaults like that a deduction.

what is the point of doing a vault with one hand? doesn't it just mean you get less air and less control over your landing? it sounds dumb!

A one-handed block lets you just kind of do a tumble with the extra boost from the springboard (and, in many cases, cheat a little bit on the twisting portion of the flight by starting it early).

Even if you put her entire personality aside, I did not like her gymnastics. It reminded me of those girls who learn back handsprings at cheer gyms where they have really ugly and/or unsafe technique because the main concern is doing the trick, not doing it cleanly.
