After fighting with the YouTube monetization system, F.D. Signifier a media critic who examines aspects of Black entertainment like films, wrasslin', and politics, drops his longest video about the Real Housewives feud of Kendrick Lamar and Drake. It's a great video that starts with the origins of hip-hop, the industry changes of how rap became a stereotypical thug image to sell, and how that gets packaged to white audiences for profits.

It's important to understand both Kendrick's and Drake's origins as to why their years long feud culminated in probably one of the most seismic shifts in hip-hop in recent memory -- the release of "Not Like Us". Also, it's just a really good fucking video -- it's like a VH1 Behind the Music meets media critique meets VH1's 100 Most Shocking Moments of Rock n Roll meets a little Netflix. Also OP is tired of these kids on YouTube saying they are doing deep drives with a 20 minute video.

Good talking points
- Drake and his ghostwriter's limitations to not tackle Kendrick's hotepness and a paradoxical image of being hip-hop's radical Black messiah while getting Pulitzers and Maroon 5 collaborations. Also using speculation while Kendrick had evidence for all the shots he took
- both men using women as 'tools of war' while not really caring about them or victims
- Drake's come-up that buys into the aesthetics of Black culture and hip-hop while having bars that read as anti-Black
- other rappers who have had beef with Drake
- the layered gatekeepers of the rap music scene

Disclaimer: There's a lot of great footage for his arguments, but feature a lot of culturally impactful but problematic, and downright evil moddafokkas... well, and that weirdo sycophant Teddy Ruxbin head looking ass DJ Akademiks. It's a great video!
