ok this just proves that all of us alive right now will be long gone before they will be able to adapt all of ito's works with this much effort taken and you know what i'm all for it

take as long as you need because all adaptations of his work have sucked except for the part in gyo when they made the main female character actually reasonable and not insufferable

i liked her way more even if the adaptation overall was a bust

Funny they've adapted his other works and it didn't take this long. Idk what happened with Uzumaki when it's all b&w and only 4 episodes.

because they didn't have the detail that this production has

the junji ito collection has terrible art and animation

they didn't take their time like this did

The animation on the other Junji Ito cartoons is really cheap looking in comparison.

lol a lot of productions got delayed due to covid, even some bigger stuff but they finished within time.
