I can’t see this being a big hit. Dr Who doesn’t seem to be doing too well itself.

I was surprised at how little people talked about the latest season. I loved Nguti and the episodes were fun , except for the finale but RTD finales are hit or miss.

I watched it and liked it okay, but I honestly don't feel like I enjoyed the show as much as I used to.

I started with the Ninth Doctor and I think my interest stared waning with Twelve. Although, I did go back and watch a lot of the old episodes on Dailymotion years ago so I saw a lot of the Fourth Doctor, not much of the Second because the BBC destroyed a lot of the episodes and I didn't want to watch any serials that had pieces missing.

I’m still very confused by the point of 73 Yards and yet everybody rated it VERY highly

A lot of 2's serials have been redone with animation and they're pretty good

I have actually seen a couple of those that aired on BBC America.

I think being 8 episodes was a huge drawback for the show.

Missing 5 whole episodes really makes a difference.

I get what you’re saying, the buzz doesn’t feel like it was, but the BBC seem to be pretty happy with it.

the show is doing just fine. viewing patterns are so fragmented right now on all platforms that unless a show is outright being ignored on streaming/tv then the ratings are irrelevant, especially with something with brand awareness like doctor who
