Good timing! I literally started Derry Girls last night. I watched a couple episodes but I think I may just not be in the mindset for a goofy yet dark comedy right now. Also they talk so fast it's kind of hard to keep up with when I'm tired, even with subtitles.

There were definitely times when even with the captions on, I would think wait, what did they say?

the way "you must think I came up the Foyle in a bubble" had me so confused, lol

Sometimes the combination of speaking quickly, the accents, and the slang results in me questioning what words I think I heard and what they mean in that order 😄
