Yeah, in fact it actually makes me think about how her character was treated in Twin Peaks the Return...like, the anger and pain on her face when her character talks about her assault felt very real & nothing was shown onscreen.

i had never seen wild at heart and saw it last year when it was playing at a theater near me. i loved it, with the exception of that scene. i had to leave the theater for a few minutes and compose myself bc i was starting to have a panic attack. :(

Plus Isabela Rosellini said that she HATED the post SA/abuse nude scene in Blue Velvet, and felt violated and betrayed when it was in the film. I think Lynch tricked her.

He also ran a TM cult, let's not forget that. In the cult, once one is a teacher, you can't ever leave. You're tied and obligated to your students for life.
