There is this entire incel-y movement online about this subject and it's definitely where these guys like Vance are getting their talking points. They've basically become radicalized by their weirdo social media circles to the point where they believe this kind of thing is a somewhat controversial but acceptable enough thing to say that maybe pushes the envelope a bit but is rooted in some sort of value system. They've completely lost the plot in their echo chambers tbh.

Also worthwhile to point out that it converges with some aspects of trad-wife social media also where there is a movement for women as wives to relinquish their right to vote in order to uphold family values.

I actually fear this. I am single and have had conversations with a single male friend about how when they start taking away my rights as an unmarried woman, I need him to come claim me. When Handmaid's Tale becomes too real, you start thinking about contingency plans.

They only want white babies and for those babies to be raised by their bio mother and father (even in the case of rape and incest), with the mother being an uneducated SAHM regardless of financial status, with the family getting no help whatsoever from the state, and who will be demonised for living in poverty. Seeing the responses on twitter to that video of Musk talking about being a shit dad was so bizarre. Just hundreds of replies from the most self-pitying, awful people crying about how their children are "dead" because they came out as trans. Like... your kids are alive and presumably 1000x better off for not having you in their lives. YOU did this! Nobody forced you to abandon your children!
