Wicked didn't want to go against the powerhouse that is Moana, so it moved up a week to go against Gladiator 2.

it makes sense because moana and wicked are both musicals, but I think Gladiator 2 will still be a huge box office hit

But also, I think Wicked doomed itself when they chose to split it in half
