the story that gets told is that Taylor let Karlie use her nyc apt and she would throw parties without asking which pissed taylor off. but who knows if it's true

I think they were real friends but knew that their friendship would get attention so they played it up for PR (kind of like how I think Taylor and Travis are a real couple but also are using their relationship for attention).

There are a couple of theories including that Karlie invited people over to Taylor’s apartment without asking and that she was giving info to scooter about her masters. Karlie was managed by/close to scooter at one point so that could make sense.
