I'm sure him being gay doesn't help his case with the general public in terms of this situation but I sure as hell don't care about it in terms of what he did those victims.

why is he entitled to a career?! go get a normal job.

I didn't even know about Barrowman and just read his Wikipedia. He TOTALLY has Exhibitionistic Disorder. There's a pattern, and that is fucking gross and foul.

I still get confused that Barrowman, Anthony Rapp, and Andy Dick are/were friends. One of these is not like the others...

Or maybe...Rapp is not so great? I hope that's not the case though.

To be clear I know he is a victim of Spacey's and whatever Rapp has done that doesn't change that. But I think I remember Anthony talking about being abusive to a prior partner- I can't find it now so perhaps I'm conflating him with someone else.

Maybe. I just mean one of them seems to understand discretion at the very least. Relevant because of Rapp and Spacey.

yes, true. I guess at least in Barrowman's case they have shared experiences of being in the same spaces, and Spacey tried to prey on Barrowman as well IMO (though Barrowman doesn't see it that way, which is his right).

True enough. I remember the Barrowman experience mentioned, but at some point you have to assess if they've learned to not be gross to others yet.

If I am remembering this correctly, Anthony met John when they were pretty young (like when they were teenagers?). I think there are a lot of cases where people stay friends with someone who knew them before they were famous because they have that bond from struggling together during their pre-fame days. Jonathan Groff's friendship with Lea Michele seems similar.

They were all in high school but I'd be leery of hanging around men who clearly don't understand consent, in social settings at the very least.

Yeah while there may be some truth in her saying the offense being against men causing the reaction, what we should take from that is that them being committed against women should also be treated like this.

Not that Spacey should be able to get away with it too?
